Ryan took us on a great tour of Camp Pendleton... it was a great time to see all the green hill sides and one could just imagine all the Marines hiking up and down the hills! Of course, there was the occasional " Troop Crossing " and "Tank Crossing" sign. We were able to see the first apartment they lived in as well as where he did the School of Infantry and his current station of work.
Haylee was adorable and delightful and we got to watch her for Sunday afternoon... the afternoon of the earthquake. Fortunately, she slept through it while Ross and I tried to figure out what we should do. The room was rolling and light poles swaying and we were on the third floor of our motel.
